Each spring the Center for Community Engagement organizes a day for the Suffolk community to perform service in the Greater Boston area. This year the CCE will celebrating its 20th annual Service Day, making strides of difference in the surrounding area. Service projects take place thoughout the entire day and in various locations in the city of Boston with a free on-campus celebratory luncheon that recognizes the past year of service. Lunch Celebration will take place 11:45am-1:30pm (Sawyer 4th Floor).
When signing up for a project, please make sure that you can stay for the entire time. All projects will meet in the Stoll Room (Sawyer 410) and travel to the project as a group.
Cardmaking for older adults in the Ethos community will take place on the 4th floor of Sawyer throughout the day.

Suffolk's Center for Community Engagement (S.O.U.L.S.) was founded in 1997 to engage the Suffolk University community in meaningful service work.
The Center for Community Engagement develops programs that:
- integrate practical experience in the community with classroom learning
- help students gain a deeper, hands-on understanding of social justice issues
- help students establish an ethic of service, achieve personal growth, and develop their leadership skills
- express and promote the value and acceptance of diversity in our communities
- are based in mutually beneficial partnerships and reciprocity
